The Front Room is Deniz – a San Francisco native with over thirty years of experience working as a hairdresser, stylist and photographer across the globe. Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Istanbul, Berlin.

His craft is inspired by trailblazers in fashion, art and music and a beginner’s fascination and curiosity of any and all tools and techniques.

After attending hair school in San Francisco and undergoing additional in-depth training at Vidal Sassoon and Toni & Guy in London, Deniz put his skills into real-world practice working at Bumble and Bumble salon in New York City, as well as working as an educator and salon owner in Los Angeles. From 2015 to 2025, Deniz worked at Mühle Rasurkultur in Berlin-Mitte.

This extensive combination of work and training makes a difference that few appreciate until they see and feel the difference. Haircuts that fit. That fall into place. Haircuts that last.
